BDO Czech Republic to move its headquarters to the Isola building in Pankrác

"The Isola, office building located in Prague’s Pankrác district and part of the Generali Real Estate portfolio, is set to welcome a major new tenant. BDO Czech Republic s.r.o. (hereinafter “BDO”), a leading provider of audit, tax and advisory services, has leased more than 4,100 sq m of office space in the building. The new headquarters will support the company’s continued growth while bringing together employees currently based at two separate locations in Prague under one roof. The transaction was brokered by Savills, which is also providing comprehensive project management services for the fit-out of BDO’s new offices. Completion of the Isola building is scheduled for the end of 2026, with BDO expected to move in during the third quarter of 2027."

Large residential portfolios confirm the investment potential of rental housing in the Czech Republic

"Investment volumes in commercial real estate in the Czech Republic reached almost €1.14 billion in the first half of 2026. The residential sector played a significant role, becoming the second strongest investment segment. Investment activity in the sector was significantly supported by Wood & Company’s acquisition of 760 rental apartments in Písnice in Prague, which remains the largest investment transaction on the Czech market so far this year. According to Savills, the limited supply of large residential portfolios highlights the growing interest of institutional investors in the sector."

Small Business Unit market booms: 2026 set to be the second-strongest year on record

"According to Savills analysis of the Czech market for Small Business Units (SBUs), demand for small industrial units for lease continues to significantly outpace supply. As of March 2026, the vacancy rate stood at just 4.1%, with available space recorded in only four regions across the country. In Prague, newly available units are being leased almost immediately. Provided all projects currently under construction are delivered by year-end as planned, the market is expected to see 46,900 sq m of new SBU completions in 2026, making it the second-strongest year on record for the sector, surpassed only by the record year of 2007. For the purposes of this analysis, Small Business Units (SBUs) are defined as Grade A industrial properties offering individual units with a maximum gross leasable area (GLA) of 1,000 sq m."
