October in Monaco: Culture, Colour and Community
October in Monaco is a time of gentle sunshine, calm seas, and a rich cultural calendar. As the Principality settles into autumn, residents and visitors alike enjoy a more relaxed rhythm with music, art, and tradition at its heart.
The Monaco Fun Fair Returns
From 17 October to 19 November 2025, the Foire Attractions de Monaco will once again transform Port Hercule into a lively playground for all ages. A long-standing local favourite, the fair fills the harbour with lights, laughter, and the scent of crêpes: a true sign that autumn has arrived.
Performances and Culture
The month brings world-class performances to Monaco’s stages:
-Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo present See You by Paul Lightfoot and Herman Schmerman by William Forsythe at the Opéra Garnier from 23–26 October.
-The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra performs a series of concerts, including appearances by pianist Simon Trpčeski on 12 October, violinist Maxim Vengerov on 19 October, and a special recital by Matthias Goerne & Maria João Pires on 8 October.
-New Moods reopened on 2 October, with tribute concerts to Toto, The Doors, and The Cure, plus a family-friendly Halloween event.
-At Villa Paloma, the exhibition Les Années Folles of Coco Chanel continues until 5 October, offering a final chance to explore the glamour and artistry of the 1920s.
A Season to Enjoy Monaco
With mild weather and clear skies, October is one of the most beautiful months to experience life in Monaco, from a morning walk along Larvotto Beach to an evening concert overlooking the sea.
